The short version

Kandrit is a quiz platform. Playing is free. Some quizzes carry a prize and some do not, and either way you are never asked to pay to enter, to stake anything, or to deposit money in order to play. These terms explain how that works, what we expect of you, and what you can expect of us. They apply to everyone who uses kandrit.com.

Playing is free

There is no entry fee on Kandrit, for any quiz, at any time. We do not take a stake, we do not sell entries, and no amount of money improves your chance of winning. If you ever see something on this site asking you to pay to enter a quiz, it did not come from us and we would like to hear about it.

Campaigns fall into two kinds. Some carry a prize, funded by Kandrit or by the creator or brand running the campaign. Others carry no prize at all and are played for the score alone. Which kind a campaign is, how many winners it has, and what the prize is are shown on the campaign before you start.

Your account

• One account per person. Creating several accounts to enter the same campaign more than once is the one thing most likely to cost you a prize.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your password to yourself.
• You can play as a guest with only a nickname. A guest can play and appears on the leaderboard, but is not eligible for prizes. Creating an account at any point keeps everything you have already played.
• You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a competition where you live, whichever is greater.

How winning works

Campaigns are decided on skill. You answer questions within a time limit, and your score comes from how many you answer correctly and how quickly you answer them. Nothing is drawn at random, and no prize is decided by chance.

• The number of winners and how the prize is split between them is set before a campaign starts and shown on the campaign.
• Where scores are level, the faster total time places higher.
• Prizes are credited to the winner's Kandrit wallet when the campaign ends. Withdrawals to a Nigerian bank account are made from there.
• Replays and games played with friends are for fun. They carry no prize and never affect a campaign leaderboard.

Fair play

A quiz is only worth playing if everybody is playing the same one. We will remove a score, a prize or an account for:

• more than one account belonging to the same person in one campaign
• automated answering, scripts, or any tool that answers on your behalf
• sharing answers during a live campaign, including in campaign chat
• interfering with the platform or trying to reach parts of it that are not yours

Where we take a prize back, it goes to the next eligible player. If you think we have got that wrong, write to us and a person will look at it.

Campaigns run by creators and brands

Some campaigns are created and funded by other people rather than by Kandrit. The questions in those campaigns are theirs, and the prize is theirs. We make sure the prize is held before a campaign is published, so a campaign that reaches you is a campaign that can pay. Running campaigns is done in a separate creator application, which has its own terms.

Wallet and withdrawals

Your wallet holds what you have won. You can withdraw it to a Nigerian bank account in your own name, or spend it on airtime, data, electricity and television subscriptions through the app. We may ask you to confirm your identity before a withdrawal, and we may hold a withdrawal while we look into a campaign where fair play is in question.

Advertising

Parts of the site carry advertising. Adverts are marked as adverts and are never shown during a quiz. An advert is not a recommendation from us, and anything you buy from an advertiser is between you and them.

Things we do not promise

We work to keep Kandrit running and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never make a mistake. A campaign may be cancelled before it starts, in which case any prize funded for it is returned. Where something goes wrong on our side during a campaign, we will say so and put it right rather than pretend otherwise.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects how you play or how you are paid, we will say so on the site. Continuing to use Kandrit after that means the new terms apply.
